TwinkTop- Joining the college sports club has always been a top priority of mine. When I looked into which clubs were available, I knew exactly where I wanted to spend my free time after school. My choice had less to do with the sport itself, and more with its leader. I didn’t realize Coach Barrett’s club would be so hard to get into, initially. When I was waitlisted, I truly thought I wouldn’t be allowed to join the club. I was crestfallen—Coach Barrett had something about him —he was masculine and tough— but also seemed to have a tender, caring side when he interacted with athletes. I’ve never found myself being attracted to another man but I caught my eyes lingering a little longer on him than usual, longer than I had ever looked at any woman. I heard the other day that one of the team members was injured and wouldn't be able to continue with the club. Later that afternoon, I got a call to join—sucks for that guy, great for me! The only problem was I would have to play an away game with the team the following day. At that point I was just happy to be accepted, so I packed my socks and jockstraps and went on my way. I'll admit some of my gear was a little, shall we say, musky, but I was short on time! When we met, Coach Barrett announced we’d be sharing a room with a single bed due to last-minute scheduling conflicts. I was nervous, but also very excited. I remember thinking that I get to room with one of the coolest coaches ever and not only that, I get to sleep in the same bed as him! I knew that nothing would happen, of course, but just to be that close was nice…
